Redistricting: Did Your Ward Change?

Following every dicennial Census, local counties and municipalities are required to update their districts and draw new ward maps. This is called "redistricting." Due to the high population growth Lisbon has experienced in the alst 10 years, we have created a new Ward! Our goal was to change as little as possible and still keep within the State's requirements:

  • Ward 1 didn't change at all, and they still vote at Vilage Hall.
  • Ward 2 got so large that we had to split it into two! The new Ward 7 covers people who previously voted at Redeemer Church that live north of Main Street - from Hillside Rd all the way to Rolling Hills Drive. You will now vote at Village Hall, and you were mailed a postcard in early February to tell you about the change. If you are not in the area noted here, you are still in Ward 2 and still vote at Redeemer Church.
  • Ward 3 lost a few voters due to the new State Senate/Assembly district lines, and those voters became the new Ward 8. All of you will still vote at Redeemer Church. Ward 3 also gained some voters from Ward 4 who were sent a postcard regarding the change.
  • Ward 4 was broken up by the moving of County Supervisory Districts. Voters previously located within Ward 4 who live east of Mary Hill Rd & north of Richmond Rd are now located in Ward 3. Your new polling place is Redeemer Church, and you were mailed a postcard in early February to notify you of the change. If you are not in the area noted her, you are still in Ward 4 and still vote at the Fire Station.
  • Ward 5 had a small section (10 properties) switch to Ward 4, but all still vote at the Fire Station.
  • Ward 6 didn't change at all, and they still vote at Village Hall.
  • Ward 7 (NEW) - Ward 2 became so large that it had to be split into two wards. The new Ward 7 covers people who previously voted at Redeemer Church that live north of Main Street - from Hillside Rd all the way to Rolling Hills Drive. You will now vote at Village Hall, and you were mailed a postcard in early February to tell you about the change.
  • Ward 8 (NEW) - Ward 3 had a small portion (one subdivision) that needed to be split off due to the new State Senate/Assembly lines. All still vote at Redeemer Church.
