WELCOME

The Town of Lisbon, established in 1836, encompasses 26 square miles in north central Waukesha County. The town is intimately tied to the surrounding communities of Sussex, Merton, Pewaukee and Hartland. These communities currently provide commercial and social destinations for the residents of Lisbon as Lisbon is 90% residential. The residents can also enjoy the amenities offered by a large metropolitan area with the City of Milwaukee being a 30 minute drive.

To this day the charm of Lisbon lies in its rural landscape with rolling hills, old growth woodlands and scenic country roads. The Town is currently working on a zoning plan that will enable Lisbon to keep its rural landscape and still accommodate its growing population which now stands at 9898.

FLOOD DAMAGE FROM THE RECENT STORM?

Have you experienced basement flooding as a result of last weeks storm?  If so, call 211 and report the damage. Also call the Town Hall at 246-6100 tor provide an estimate of your loss.  Lisbon is compiling these reports to forward to FEMA for possible federal grants to assist residents with the costs of replacement.
